  • 6:30 - 8 p.m. Advanced 13 -18

 Session Content:

  • Develop character and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of proper nutrition
  • Build up core strength and improve athletic skill
  • Learning high-percentage low-risk techniques
  • Learning to be a complete wrestler by using the whole body

Requirements:

The Spring Clinic will teach young men to use upper body techniques for Greco as well as the application to facilitate lower body attacks. Contrary to popular belief, Greco is not just about upper-body throws, although that is a definite part of Greco; however, Greco is about the sneaky use of ones legs and quality hand-fighting.

All wrestlers, whether interested in wrestling Greco or not, will benefit from the training as it applies to Greco, Freestyle, and U.S. Folkstyle wrestling.  To be blunt, this will make a Folkstyle wrestler a better Folkstyle wrestler.  The adage, "Summer Wrestling, Makes Winter Champions"  still holds true.

Each session will be capped at 40 athletes and prioritize by those who participated last year, and then first come first serve.

*Summer Camps will be announced soon and any Spring Clinic paid participant will receive a 20 % discount on Strider Camps.
